Community Health Internship

IMG_6335GVAHEC believes that students can have a quality learning experience when working as interdisciplinary teams within underserved communities. In our community health education centers, students assess, identify, develop, and deliver community health education programs and assist community members by linking them to services in the area. In addition, our community health education centers offer other services to the community in which students can observe or participate.

There are currently two community health education sites in the GVAHEC area. One in Apache Junction and the other located in Northern Phoenix. Students can also be placed with key partners in the GVAHEC region to have additional experiences with specific populations or with other public health activities such as advocacy.

Complete this application if you are a student interested in an internship with the Greater Valley AHEC.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received. Please allow 7-10 days to be contacted about your application.

**Students who are placed by their program still need to fill this application out**
